As I’m sure you’ve noticed (cause some of you have asked) we haven’t been on top of our posts as usual. Well that is mainly do to the fact that we have big kid jobs that pay us and we’ve all been swamped lately. Not to mention that I had to nurse a week long hangover thanks to Mardi Gras but that’s a story in and of it’s self.

Saw this on The Hollywood Reporter. It is not Freakn’ Sweet in the traditional sense, however it is a PSA that does not ram the message down your throat. Rumor has it that it first started circulating last week. It is also disheartening to see what we can only assume is candy being wasted. This one may be sappy enough to get me fired.
Apple to announce their ‘latest creation’ on Wednesday, January 27th

Apple has started the buzz again by announcing their upcoming keynote. Everyone is pretty sure this is where the world will get the first look at the Apple Tablet or iSlate or whatever clever name they come up with. There are also other rumors about the iPhone 4.0 and the possibility of Apple breaking that “only at AT&T” tie. (It’s about time if you ask me)

Over the next couple weeks we’re going to be uploading a bunch of old posts so those of you that have been with us for a while may be seeing some repeats. So why are we doing this?
We relaunched Freakn’ Sweet a couple months ago after changing the backend of the site. It made thing load a lot faster and a lot easier for us to update the site. Just one problem, not everything imported correctly. So with that said I’ve got about 400 articles that will be showing up so there’s going to some old stuff but like I said, it’s still sweet! We’re going to tag these with Old Skool so you’ll know they’re a blast from the past.
Thanks for helping us make this site what it is.
