Unfortunately we’re to small to hang out with the big kids. Maybe next year though…

Since we aren’t there I had an idea and I would assume that most tech blogs don’t do what we’re about to, but I want to shoot you straight. Even thought we think we’re awesome we know we’re not the greatest website in the world (yet). However when it comes to CES coverage, in my humble opinion, Engadget is to notch. So if you didn’t know already, Engadget has a section of their site completely dedicated to CES coverage. (Not to mention a press trailer)

We’ll definitely “re-post” our favorite things that come out of CES but for full coverage check out Engadget At CES 2010.

Goodbye 09, Hello 2010

It’s been a great 1st year for us here at Freakn’ Sweet. What started as a dream of mine in December of ’08 has grown into a site that we’re proud of and we can’t wait to make it explode this year. We’ve made a lot of new friends this year and can’t wait to see what the new year brings. We hope 2010 is a year of growth for you as well and want to thank you for all of your support.

Pocketnow.com Gets an overhaul

It looks like Freakn’ Sweet wasn’t the only site getting a new coat of paint this week. Pocketnow.com which is one of my favorite websites launched their new design yesterday and I have to say I love it! Brandon Minimam and they guys over there write some amazing content that focuses mainly on the smartphone market. There’s a lot of things that we pass on from their site too.

Freakn’ Sweet gets a new coat of paint

We’re pumped to show off the new FreaknSweet.com and we hope you like it too. We must caution that the paint is still wet though so you may see some touch-up jobs over the next couple days. So what’s different? ummm…. It would probably be easier to just say everything. We’ve completely rebuilt FS from the ground up in an attempt make the experience better for you. In the next couple weeks you’ll see some additional features popping up too cause we aren’t finished yet. Also please let us know if you find anything that isn’t working. We’ll get it fixed and blame it on Ninjas.

We’ve also made the new site mobile friendly so now you can follow FS while on the go. Not to mentions catching us on Facebook and Twitter. Thanks to everyone that has helped us keep the site going. Now it’s time to get HUGE!
