This just got posted at XKCD.com and it made my night. Gotta love a good Higgs Boson Particle Joke. Yea I’m a Quantum Physics Nerd. I was going to do a pun here but I couldn’t settle on one. Higgs Christ? Jesus Boson? In the beginning there was…one particle that gave mass to all other particles? Sermon on the CERN? The Last Splitter? I got nothin. Dang it! Either way this is still funny.

Death of a Witch

Ever wonder how many ways you can kill a witch? Evan Taylor did. He’s an artist from Tulsa, OK and I must say, I love his morbid sense of humor.
Taylor has “extinguished” the Wicked Witch all over Oklahoma. She’s been rolled up in hay, run over with a lawn mower, drowned under a bridge, and has also died a few times on visits down Oklahoma’s beautiful stretch of Route 66. The Golden Driller has even had his way with her!
If you live in Tulsa you can check out a good 30 shots of her “death”. If not, we’ll have to wait… Taylor said that he may be launching a site for everyone that’s not able to make the show. Learn more about where to see the show and see a couple teaser shots after the break. Read More

IdeaPaint: Draw on the walls like the kid you are

As some of you may or may not know my “day job” is @ Matchbox Design Group where we use white boards everyday. (usually for stick figures) We’re currently in the process of moving offices and when we found this stuff we thought it was ingenious. Instead of having to hang the white boards, frame them and make sure they’re level… Brent…. , you can just paint the wall with IdeaPaint ($30-$175). Of course it can be used in places other than an office wall, say maybe the kitchen, garage, kid’s room or even your coffee table which I’ll be doing shortly.
