I’m pretty sure this is the smallets PC I’ve ever seen. It’s the CompuLab fit-PC2i and even though it’s just 4 inches wide and slightly over an inch tall, it can still run Windows 7 and blast 1080p video all day long. It’s also being hailed as the planet’s smallest dual gigabit Ethernet-equipped PC.
Other specs include an Intel Atom Z5xx CPU (from 1.1GHz to 2GHz), up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, room for a 2.5-inch HDD, audio in / out, built-in WiFi, four USB 2.0 ports and Windows 7 (if you so choose). The beast (figuratively speaking) is built from a 100 percent aluminum die-cast body, and even at full load it sucks down just 8 watts and is so efficient it doesn’t even need a fan blowing inside.
So now that you’ve got the perfect spot for this little guy picked out you’ll have to slow your roll because it doesn’t ship in January. When it does you can grab the loaded model with Windows 7 Professional on board for $499, or get the cheapest one for $245. More pics and the full press release after the break.
