The New Balance MT101 should be on my feet

by cwhitmore | Posted December 16th, 2010 at 10:07 pm

Kinda like a chick, I’ve got a thing for shoes and currently the new New Balance MT101 ($75) are at the top of my list.  They are a super-lightweight running shoe that features a new design to allow for a more natural run.  However, if you’re like me, they won’t see much running.  I’ve got a feeling you’ll see these on Blaccessorize pretty soon and hopefully on my feet.

The Seiko Sportura Watch should be on my wrist.

by cwhitmore | Posted November 6th, 2010 at 4:36 pm

With all of the stores putting out Christmas stuff, maybe I should start showing off some stuff I want for Christmas, like the new Seiko Sportura Watch($488).   This thing is sweet!  It’s comes in two versions, the more sporty model above or in a more dressy model with a stainless steel band (I dig the sporty one… hint, hint nudge, nudge)

Some of the features you can get to set this guy apart it it’s Kinetic Direct Drive, Chronograph Perpetual, Alarm Chronograph, and Quartz, 10 bar water resistance and a non-reflective sapphire crystal.  Did I mention that I want this?

Electronic Guitar Shirt Rock Video? Are You F’n Serious?

by cwhitmore | Posted October 26th, 2010 at 10:20 pm

YouTube Preview Image

Yes…  yes they are!  Ladies and gents, get ready to have your face melted by the awesome powers of the Electronic Guitar Shirt ($30).  I pretty much laughed through this entire music video of “Step Back”  by Jon Baker.  Now what’s even more ridiculous than this video is that the song was created using the electric shirts from ThinkGeek.com.  If you feel the need to 1up this you can get your own Guitar Shirt, Drum Shirt and Personal Soundtrack Shirt.  Go ahead, embrace your inner (or outward) geek.

USB Flash Drive Cufflinks

by cwhitmore | Posted May 26th, 2010 at 8:19 pm

As we’ve said before, geeks like fashion too and though these aren’t Transformer cufflinks, their pretty damn cool. Each of these USB Flash Drive Cufflinks ($200) house a mini 2GB flash drive , giving you 4GB of fashionable storage.  You can get this techi-bling in three styles; polished, gunmetal or gold (for all you gangstas).

Mr. Jones Cyclops Watch

by cwhitmore | Posted March 24th, 2010 at 8:20 pm

So I’ve got a thing for watches and this Special Edition Black Mr Jones Cyclops ($184) is hot!  Instead of the traditional minute hands this guy has a hoop that eclipses circles that represent the hours. The special edition version features a black stainless steel case with warm gray minute markers and a red marker.  I’ll be adding this one to my wish list.

Reuse your bike tires, make a belt

by cwhitmore | Posted March 3rd, 2010 at 8:20 pm

Cool idea to make a Bicycle Tire Belt($30) from a used(recycled) bike tire.

“This tire was rescued from the trash after a tire change at the bike shop. It has little use to it and the tread is barely showing any wear.” Backing is black rubber. Belt is 1-3/4 inches wide, buckle is nickel plated steel.

Welder K24 Watch

by cwhitmore | Posted March 3rd, 2010 at 11:04 am

The Welder K24 Watch ($1,350) is a beast.  It’s got some hardcore industrial looks, a sturdy matte steel body, and mammoth 50mm face. The K24 features large markers at the 10 and 2 points, with submarkers for every five minutes in between, oversized white main dial hands, three sub-dials with red hands, a black rubber strap with a butterfly buckle, a JS55 Miyota movement, and water resistance down to 100 meters.

I’m digging the stopwatch button look too.
