One of the fun things about trade shows other than seeing all the new things is getting to see all the crazy things and this classifies as crazy. It’s the Hannspree Polar Bear TV ($299) and is a 19″, 720p, TV that will be available in March from Hannspree. It’s designed to “raise awareness” about polar bears, and is just the first in a series of other (unspecified) threatened animal TVs, but it doesn’t actually help the polar bears in any way if you buy one. Except with karma, maybe, but karma isn’t an unmeltable iceberg or a tasty seal. For now it get’s labeled a fuzzy crapgadget. (even thought it’s not USB)
