Jail House Fire Hot Sauce: Created with Conviction

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Brent from blaccessorize.us and I are big fans of hot sauce and are always trying to get our hands on new ones.  Here’s one I can’t wait to try, Jail House Fire Hot Sauce ($7).  Why’s it’s call Jail House?  Because it was created by the inmates at the Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa, FL, thats why!  It comes in three intense flavors – Original, made from a recipe of peppers and spices, the chipotle-based Smoke, and No Escape, the prisoners’ hottest creation yet. In addition, all profits go to support equipment and supplies for inmate programs.

I wonder how many people were shanked in the process of making this?

Get a gallon of Tabasco with your name on it.

If I had only seen this before I bought my dad’s Christmas gift.  Tabasco Personalized Gallon Jugs ($45) could be the greatest gifts for the spice freaks in your life.  You can get it in chipotle, green, habanero, garlic, and original flavors, each jug comes with the recipient’s name (up to 20 characters) printed on the label, making it way more personal than the cases of smaller bottles available at the local warehouse club.
